New Directions For Youth
For nearly 50 years, New Directions for Youth (NDY) has been dedicated to helping at-risk youth and families in underserved areas throughout the San Fernando Valley. Their comprehensive approach to youth development recognizes that the challenges facing their clients are complex and multifaceted, and require a range of support services to help them overcome these obstacles and thrive.
Since its founding in 1975, NDY has provided critical services and programs to over 200,000 young people, the majority of whom come from low-income families in neighborhoods such as North Hollywood, Van Nuys, and Panorama City. Their programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each individual client and include both prevention and intervention services to help young people build the skills, resilience, and support systems they need to succeed.
At NDY, they believe that every young person has the potential to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances. Through our holistic approach to youth development, they empower young people to take control of their lives, make positive choices, and reach their full potential. NDY is proud to serve our community and remains committed to providing the highest quality services and programs to those who need them most.

Petersen Gala
The Petersen Automotive Museum's annual gala is a highly anticipated event that honors prominent figures in the automotive industry. This year, the museum is proud to present the Robert E. Petersen Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr. Herbert Diess, an accomplished CEO and industry leader.
As CEO of the Volkswagen group and Chairman of the Board for Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Dr. Diess is widely recognized for his contributions to the global automotive industry. He has played a pivotal role in leading Volkswagen's electrification campaign, which is one of the largest in the world.
The 28th annual Peterson Gala will be a celebration of Dr. Diess's achievements and contributions to the industry, as well as a showcase of the Petersen Automotive Museum's dedication to the advancement of the automotive industry.
